Several Artists Performing at the 2017 Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival Nominated for Blues Music Awards

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Winning a Blues Music Award is one of the highest honors given to blues musicians, and is awarded by vote of The Blues Foundation members. This year’s nominees were recently announced, and three 2017 Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival musicians have received nominations.

In the Blues Music Award’s category for Contemporary Blues Album, The Record Company is nominated for their album “Give it Back to You.”

In the Blues Music Award’s category for Contemporary Blues Male Artist and Rock Blues Album, Mike Zito is a nominee.

In the Blues Music Award’s category for Rock Blues Album, Walter Trout is nominated for his album “Alive in Amsterdam.”

The 2017 Clearwater Sea-Blues festival will rock Coachman Park Feb. 18-19. General admission to the festival is free. Reserved seating starts at $25 with two-day passes available. VIP packages start at $70 and includes a reserved seat, dinner, two drink tickets, access to the VIP bar and executive restrooms. All prices are subject to taxes and fees.
